Finger Lakes tourism study results to be released

Finger Lakes Wine Country Tourism will offer two sessions next month to share the results of the Longwoods Return on Investment Study for the Finger Lakes Wine Country Tourism Marketing Association's 2010 Marketing Campaign.

Sessions will be held on Feb. 1 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel Corning and 3 to 4 p.m. at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel.

Michael Erdman of Longwoods International will review the results, which includes the campaign's 2010 economic impact figures. The results will include how the marketing campaign performed in each target market and how many trips to Finger Lakes Wine Country were influenced by the campaign.

The presentations are open to all tourism businesses, elected officials and the public.
