Longwoods International has a unique opportunity for a Senior Coordinator of Research Services to serve as a critical team member to identify actionable insights to help our clients better utilize our data. This position reports to the Vice President, Research and works closely with the Director of Client Services to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for market research, client services, and be a strong team player.
Responsibilities:
Research: The ideal candidate will have solid market research experience with a focus on quantitative research methodology and analysis.
- Be an integral part of multiple aspects of client deliverables, including report finalization, in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Review survey links and presentation documents.
- Convert reports into cohesive and professional presentations.
- Serve as a resource for quantitative research best practices.
- Qualitative research experience is a plus.
Please note – This position is integral to the success of the Client Services team with a primary focus on client deliverables and interactions. This position will have ongoing coordination with the Production team to ensure client deliverables and requirements are met on schedule.
Client management: The ideal candidate will be a member of the Longwoods International Client Services team and open to further developing their client management skillset.
- Assist the Vice President, Research and Director of Client Services as they liaison with the internal Longwoods International team and multiple clients.
- Develop a practical understanding of the clients’ needs and usage of research and data sources.
- Interact with clients on a day-to-day project communication level.
- Ensure external data resources, as needed from the clients, are provided to the Chief Methodologist.
- Schedule and assist with client meetings in person or via Zoom.
- Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and content.
- Coordinate across email, project management software (Wrike) and Salesforce to ensure client deliverables are accomplished and recorded.
- Manage introductory training for clients on use of crosstabs software program.
- Attend some travel industry events and client meetings.
Experience:
- 3 or more years of experience in designing and conducting research, analyzing, and interpreting data and writing research finding reports from quantitative studies.
- 3 years or more of either working in the Travel and Tourism Industry (Destination Management Organization experience is a plus), or in client or account management for a related industry supplier/vendor.
- Project management experience is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Master’s degree (preferred)

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- Strong internal and external communications and customer servicing skills.
- Ability to learn different technological operating systems and Longwoods research products from training sessions to assist in client communications.
- Strong writing and analytical capabilities with ability to identify key findings and insights from study results.
- Ability to listen effectively, engage and support ongoing team collaboration.
- Command a working level of statistical knowledge.
- Experience with survey programming and analysis platforms preferred.
- Ability to visually project confidence and professionalism for both videoconferencing and in-person meetings.
- Knowledge of qualitative research and reporting a plus.
