Anna Blount, who was formerly the Director of Market Research at MMGY Global, has joined Longwoods International as the company’s first Director of Research Services. Longwoods is the leading tourism research consultancy in North America and its U.S. headquarters is in Columbus, Ohio.

Anna’s previous work included managing the research relationships with clients such as the U.S. Travel Association, the American Society of Travel Agents, Orbitz, Visit Florida, the South Dakota Department of Tourism, Tourism Vancouver, Japan National Tourism Organization, Jordan Tourism Board North America, and The Leading Hotels of the World. She will be based in Orlando, Florida and officially joins the team on February 19th.

Prior to joining MMGY Global, Anna was a member of the market research team at Publix Super Markets, Inc., a Fortune 100 regional grocery chain. While there she managed and contributed towards primary and secondary research projects, including customer segmentation, product trends, and competitive intelligence.
